Research: Mathematical model and numerical simulation on implicit solvation problems; Stable and efficient numerical methods for some gradient flow dynamics with nonlinear and nonlocal interactions. Machine learning with applications in PDEs. Accelerated dynamics for binary/ternary systems with long-range interactions. Analysis and simulations for the nonlocal Allen-Cahn-Ohta-Kawasaki model. Supervised Optimal Transports with applications in biology.

Math 6350 in Fall 2021: Topics in Applied Math -- Deep learning theory with applications in differential equations and data science: This is a new topics course I offered. The course mainly covers the state of art Machine Learning tools with applications in Applied and Computational Mathematics.
Math 6540 in Spring 2022: Topics in Numerical Analysis -- Computational Optimal Transport: This is a new topics course I am teaching in Spring 2022, which covers an important tool, Optimal Transport, for the applied data science.
