Richard Ricciardi

Richard Ricciardi, CRNP, PhD, FAANP, FAAN is a Professor and Director of Strategic Partnerships for the Center for Health Policy and Media Engagement at The GW School of Nursing. Prior to joining GW, Dr. Ricciardi served as the Director, Division of Practice Improvement and Senior Advisor for Nursing at AHRQ. Dr. Ricciardi served on active duty in the US Army for 31 years. Dr. Ricciardi is a past president of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and a past president of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners. Dr. Ricciardi currently serves on the board of directors for the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Dr. Ricciardi maintains a part-time clinical practice at Mercy Health Clinic; serving underserved populations.
