My current research interests include perceived benefits and burdens of cancer clinical trial participation and clinical trial retention, cancer communication, lifestyle behaviors among adults with prediabetes/diabetes, nurses’ moral distress, and health care for the underserved population. I have expertise in instrument development, psychometric testing, survey methods, and advanced statistical analysis. I have received funding from foundation and federal levels.
I have taught across levels and recently, I have been teaching master and PhD bio-statistics, translation research into practice (TRIP), DNP proposal writing, and advising on DNP projects and PhD dissertations.
