Throughout my career, I have studied central vestibular development and recovery of function after peripheral vestibular lesions. I investigate the role of synaptic transmission in recovery of function after vestibular lesions and congenital vestibular disorders. This has been a productive and rewarding approach that has led to national and international recognition of my work.
