For research, I have come up with 6 new papers this academic year. Three of them are with Ph.D. students. Two papers were submitted for journals and one paper is close to submission. I expect at least three publications out of them by next year. (I have been away from research due to personal situations and chair duties. But I am trying to get back to research.) For teaching, I taught a new course in MSF. I also agreed to teach a new course in the new degree program jointly offered by IFC and Milken Institute. For service, I served the department as co-chair. I also helped the school in stabilizing MSF program by actively recruiting new adjuncts and teaching the course myself.
