Dr. Trimmer has spent her career in education working with students to help empower them to learn and craft meaning of information they have gained in academic and non-academic arenas. She is passionate about creating equity in the classroom and working with future administrators to help them incorporate research and best practices as they build authentic learning environments. Highlights of current work include advising over 40 GWU students in the Northern Virginia and developing cohort partnerships with school districts in the metro DC area.
