Lynn R. Offermann is Professor of Industrial and Organizational Psychology in the Department of Organizational Sciences and Communication (OSC) and the Department of Management, George Washington University. She was Department Chair of OSC from 2016-2019. Her research focuses on leadership and followership, teams, and diversity. Dr. Offermann is a Fellow of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, the American Psychological Association (Divisions 8 (Personality & Social Psychology), 14 (I/O) and 35 (Psychology of Women)), and the Association for Psychological Science, and her work has appeared in the Journal of Applied Psychology, American Psychologist, Academy of Management Journal, Leadership Quarterly, Harvard Business Review, Journal of Cross Cultural Psychology, Human Performance, Journal of Applied Social Psychology, and the Journal of Occupational Health Psychology, among other outlets.
