Dr. Lauren Ragle serves as a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of PA Studies. In this role, she is the course director for the the organic chemistry and biochemistry courses in the Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Medicine Program at The George Washington University. Dr. Ragle earned her undergraduate degree in biochemistry, masters degree in organic chemistry and PhD in organic chemistry from the University of Memphis. She completed her post-doctoral training as a CRTA Fellow at the National Cancer Institute. Her research has focused on chemical mechanisms of cell function that increase cell motility, survival and invasion implicated in diseases such as cancer, heart disease, chronic pain and inflammatory conditions. She has lectured across multiple topics in organic chemistry, biochemistry and medical research.
