Positions

I am committed to high-quality research and instruction at the Milken Institute School of Public Health. My primary research interests are on the evolution and epidemiology of antibiotic resistance and the role of the human microbiome in health and disease. During the last performance period, I founded the Antibiotic Resistance Action Center, published 16 peer-reviewed papers, gave 26 seminars, was quoted in over 70 different mainstream media publications, submitted and was awarded multiple grants, served as the outgoing chair of the research committee, cycled onto the school-wide and EOH departmental APT committees, taught three courses, and lectured in several others.
