I direct and teach the Family Justice Litigation Clinic and the Civil Access to Justice Clinic at GW Law School. I also am the Associate Dean of the Jacob Burns Community Legal Clinics, which is an academic program and a law firm comprised of about 20 faculty members, 5 support staff, and nearly 200 students each year. My legal work in the Clinic focuses on family law and domestic violence and I serve on many court-based and community-based boards and committees. I present frequently at academic and judicial conferences and write on women's rights, family law, domestic violence, court reform, and restorative justice. I also teach a reading group on domestic violence, professional responsibility, and social justice and public interest lawyering.
