Positions
I have expertise in curriculum development and innovative educational strategies and use my skill to coordinate large NP on-line clinical and didactic courses. I presented on topics ranging from predicting success for NP students, NP autonomy and job satisfaction, burn out and students perception of clinical faculty site visits. I have expertise in regards to working with students obtaining clinical skills. Specifically, I have advance knowledge in regards to preceptors and debriefing students in simulation. I am presently coordinating wellness initiatives for students. I am a fellow (FAANP) in the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. I received a National Educator award (NONPF) and finalist for the GW Bender teaching award. I am involved in committee work on the department, university level and professional organizations. .
