Jonathan Siegel is a Professor of Law and the F. Elwood and Eleanor Davis Research Professor of Law at George Washington University Law School. He has been a faculty member at GW since 1995. A noted scholar in the fields of federal courts, statutory interpretation, and administrative law, his works have been cited over 1300 times in books, law review articles, and court opinions (as measured by Google Scholar). He is the author of a casebook on Federal Courts, now in its second edition. Professor Siegel served as the Director of Research and Policy of the Administrative Conference of the United States from 2010-2011. He served as Senior Legislative Fellow to U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota in 2007. He is a graduate of Harvard College and Yale Law School.
