I am a 1986 graduate of Harvard Law School. I clerked for one year for the Hon. Earl B. Gilliam, U.S. District Judge for the Southern District of California. From 1987 to 1994, I served as a Trial Attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice, Civil Division, Federal Programs Branch where I litigated constitutional and administrative law cases throughout the country. Since 1994, I have taught at GW Law School. I have directed clinical programs focusing on the provision of legal services to low income clients in a variety of areas. I have served as Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and on the Faculty Senate, including on the Faculty Senate Executive Committee.
