Adrienne Blanchard Hancock Faculty Member

Positions

Dr. Hancock’s research regarding access to care for transgender people of color addresses issues important to our university, local community, and profession. Her community-based research and outreach positively impacts the population she aims to serve. Dr. Hancock includes students in all aspects of her productive research activities and they rate her course instruction and interpersonal style highly. Dr. Hancock’s dedication to service is seen in her numerous leadership roles at GW (e.g., Director of Graduate Studies, Advisor) and within the profession (e.g., peer-reviews of article, grant, and conference submissions, Chair for international (WPATH) Standards of Care for Voice and Communication, Chair in ASHA Convention Program Committee).
