Cheng Huang Faculty Member

Dr. Cheng Huang is an Associate Professor in the Department of Global Health and an Affiliated Faculty at The Institute for International Economic Policy (IIEP) at the Elliot School of International Affairs. Dr. Cheng Huang is a demographer and economist whose current research focuses on development and health issues in developing countries, as well as on global healthcare systems and reforms. With supported from NICHD/NIH, NIEHS/NIH, USAID, Melinda & Bill Gates Foundation, and China Medical Board, his work appeared at leading journals including Lancet, Journal of Development Economics, Journal of Population Economics, International Journal of Epidemiology, among others. At GWU, Dr. Huang teaches courses including Global Health Economics and Finance, Cost Effectiveness Analysis, and Quantitative Methods.
