This report comes during my first year, and only spent 3 months at GW; I highlight a few successes 1. I submitted 7, published 1, and have positive reviews for 3 more top tier publications during only 3 months. 2. I recruited 2 new PhD students into my lab, both women of color. 3. I submitted 4 grant proposals, for over 10M total, of which one was funded (70k), three are pending, one in the proposal stage. 4. I am collaborating with Prof. Adam Aviv, and have elevated our first collaborative paper submission from specialty venue to top tier conference; which has paid off; the paper is on track for acceptance. 5. I am serving on the faculty hiring committee, and actively contributing to the growth and diversity of the department. 6. I am serving as the faculty advisor to the newly established chapter of women in cybersecurity, founded by one our lab's former undergraduates (current Master student) Darika Shaibekova. To summarize, I have hit the ground running, I am growing our lab with outstanding, diverse students, expanding my already extensive professional network, bringing in funding, and collaborating and co-advising in the department. I am excited to see progress over a whole year in the next report, and continue to excel academically at GW.
